The table came cautiously packaged and was quick to assemble. They came in two packages and were very heavy to carry up three stories of staircases. Although I wouldn't jump on the tables or sit on them, the set seems fairly sturdy. Just be cautious moving it across a room as the unattached glass panel could jostle.I was comparing this coffee table/end table set with a single coffee table similarly priced from Crate and Barrel that had drawers. This set is by far the better deal due to the additional end tables. My only complaint is that the glass just isn't attachable towards the table itself so as soon as in a while a guest would surprise himself by tipping the glass. (The Crate and Barrel coffee had glass panel that seemed to be unattached and movable too.) So I would not recommend these tables should you have young youngsters that like to climb on furniture. But otherwise this is a wonderful set. The tables appear highly-priced. The stain just isn't excellent on a couple of of the legs, but it's hardly noticeable due to the fact the coloring goes excellent having a dark brown/green/tan Avington Slipper chair I got from Target. I've had them for two months and so far no scratches or odd stains regardless of some heavy coffee/tea drinking and snacking on best of the primary table. The finish tables are nice to set a laptop on. The coffee table can effortlessly fit a game of Monopoly or some other board game and is high enough for adults to sit about it on the floor comfortably. (Review More...)
