I bought this trunk and also the matching sofa table at Levin's furniture. Oddly, I had viewed this picture on the web and did not think significantly of it. Nonetheless while shopping at Levin my husband and I fell immediately in adore using the set. It's GORGEOUS in person. There is such elegant detail that didn't translate in these photographs. It was a sturdy solid set. It is also a lot more pricey at Levin's (obviously) but we purchased it there to stay away from shipping concerns and for their warranty. I'd completely advocate this set. I genuinely like this table. It looked extremely good in my beach condo with shells inside the glass windows. The only difficulty I've with it was that it was not as white as I'd have liked. I really had to paint it to match my white accents in the house. So beware that should you want a pure white table, this may not be the one for you unless you need to paint it like I had to. This can be the best coffee table I have ever had. I will never need to buy an additional 1. It is beyond becoming sturdy and strong, being made of steel and stone. It goes with every little thing, regardless of what your taste. The picture actually doesn't do it justice. You'll in no way have to be concerned about watermarks, dents, and scratches ever. The stones are stunning and removable so you can location them and replace them for your liking. Considering that I ordered it via the mail, some assembly was needed, but it was extremely simple to put together and didn't take lengthy at all. I strategy on purchasing the entire set which consists of the dining room table and chairs, two finish tables, a sofa table plus a server table. Along with the cost can't be beat. The only negative may be the table is too high when lifted, it nearly comes as much as my chin if I'm slouching, I guess this has to do with my couch being sort of low. We ordered and received the Winsome Wood Nesting Tables in antique walnut. They're truly heavy, so not very easy to use as occasional tables that you bring out when you require an extra table. As a permanent table that stays in the exact same location they would be fine. But for me, the nesting thought was the appealing part - I planned on putting them in a corner and bringing out a table when we had extra guests. These are some nice looking tables and actually can make a room appear nice. almost everything you'll need to put these tabels together are all inside the bag except for a philips head screwdriver which you are going to must make your own screw holes and afix the table best to the foundation. I also utilized wood glue that is not included and I only use it on the joints of the tabel for extra stability for within the future incase screws come loose. I ordered this coffee table (and two end tables) to go in my living room. I read the reviews and they were mostly positive. I wanted to purchase something that was all hard wood (not particle board), was attractive, sturdy and reasonable. A tall order.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. For all three pieces it was only about $260 (no tax, no shipping charges). I received them in good condition. They were packed well, and I was able to easily decipher the "picture only" instructions. I assembled them by myself, and once I figured out how the first table went together, the other two were a breeze. It took me about 30minutes to assemble each piece. They are incredibly solid, nicely constructed tables. They come with steel braces and have steel inserts for the connecting bolts. The table came cautiously packaged and was quick to assemble. They came in two packages and were very heavy to carry up three stories of staircases. Although I wouldn't jump on the tables or sit on them, the set seems fairly sturdy. Just be cautious moving it across a room as the unattached glass panel could jostle.I was comparing this coffee table/end table set with a single coffee table similarly priced from Crate and Barrel that had drawers. This set is by far the better deal due to the additional end tables. My only complaint is that the glass just isn't attachable towards the table itself so as soon as in a while a guest would surprise himself by tipping the glass. (The Crate and Barrel coffee had glass panel that seemed to be unattached and movable too.) So I would not recommend these tables should you have young youngsters that like to climb on furniture. But otherwise this is a wonderful set. The tables appear highly-priced. The stain just isn't excellent on a couple of of the legs, but it's hardly noticeable due to the fact the coloring goes excellent having a dark brown/green/tan Avington Slipper chair I got from Target. I've had them for two months and so far no scratches or odd stains regardless of some heavy coffee/tea drinking and snacking on best of the primary table. The finish tables are nice to set a laptop on. I believe the packaging might have been just a little better but fortunately the only real damage ended up being to this area and never the tables. They are doing require set up but it is simple.
